One on One Fitness is about FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING. Whether you are an elderly individual, middle age person or an athlete, our focus is on training our clients to have strength, balance, coordination, proprioception and flexibility. These areas all help us maintain function in our activities of daily living.
There are three motions that we all perform in our activities of daily living. These are:
Lifting something off the floor or bending over.
Raising an object over head or reaching up.
Squatting or getting up from the floor or chair.
These are three areas of concern and focus that are considered in our FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING.
